Hello, my name is Gia Foretia, Founder of Gia’s World Studios, now evolving into a full-service film production company.
I began my journey in film back in 2010 when I had to pursue an extra semester of college to earn the full credits needed to graduate. The anxiety, stress, and exhaustion from four (4) long years at a prestigious university pushed me to finally do something for myself: write my first feature film script.
I had no idea at the time what a script looked like, but I was determined to figure it out and get all my emotions out on paper in the form of characters. Sadly, I shelved the script for 15 years. I wasn’t mentally equipped to create a film.
Fast forward to 2019, when I got the urge to start my film career again, take it very seriously and slowly. Within six (6) months, my first short film script “Blind Justice” was complete, and I have not looked back since. I’m so grateful for all those who’ve since been involved in my film career.
Then, I made another goal, to document as much of my film journey as possible, so future independent filmmakers can have a guide on how to create a successful film. I’ve also decided to shift gears from not only how to make a film but also how to make a film profitable whether it be monetary or non-monetary.
